It's like when people hop on Queintin Tarantino for making violent films. It's all for entertainment for crying out loud. It's to tell a story, which is what music videos are supposed to do, not her pure for shock vaule crap.

Also people don't condemn her for running around naked but for obviously putting shock value and controversy over raw talent and quality music and just being an annoying attention seeker in general. Her image is more known than her music and it shouldn't be that way. Taylor focuses on her image too but at least she is one of the only female pop artists that can say she has written at least 10 songs without the use of a co-writer.
