Yes, I will.
The whitewashing and apparent minimization of the contributions of POC, drag queens and trans people in the Stonewall riots is infuriating, but the movie is still worth supporting. Hollywood is finally starting to see the LGBT community as a viable audience and consistently make LGBT-related movies. Even if the portrayal of the Stonewall riots is inaccurate, boycotting a big-budget LGBT movie is not going to provide better representation of the LGBT community in film. If anything, it's going to make filmmakers more reluctant to make LGBT-related movies.
The movie is problematic based on the trailer, but filming started two months ago and it doesn't seem like they can do much to fix it at this point. So, for Stonewall, the LGBT community can support the project and provide criticism that will help in the making of future LGBT movies, or they can tank it and risk fewer LGBT movies being made and there being less LGBT representation in film as a result. The former option seems much better to me.
