Unfortunately the world is filled with stereotypes. A friend of mine was giving me a ride after school but he went to the bathroom first, I decided to wait in the car so he gave me the keys, I check some stuff he had and there was a CD and when I put it on the player the first song I heard was Britney's "Toxic", I laughed because he only listens to Bob Marley, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Beatles and that kind of stuff. When he came back he said "what are you doing?!" and desperately ejected the CD and put the radio on.

Late 90's - Early 2000's: Pop Music (N'Sync, Backstreet Boys, Christina Aguilera, Britney Spears, Spice Girls)
Early 2000's: R&B Influence (Destiny's Child, Shaggy, Usher, Mariah Carey, Jennifer Lopez, Nelly)
2002 - 2003: Pop Rock (Avril Lavigne, Michelle Branch, Vanessa Carlton, Evanescence)
2004: Alternative and Heavy Metal Phase (System of a Down, Trapt, Saliva, Rob Zombie, the Killers)
2005: Return To Top 40 (Mariah Carey, Gwen Stefani, 50 Cent, Kelly Clarkson, Green Day)
2006: Rap Era (Yung Joc, D4L, Three 6 Mafia, Paul Wall, Ludacris, Akon, Chamillionaire)
2007: Country Zone (Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban)
2008: Contemporary Time (Regina Spektor, Lily Allen, Sara Bareilles, Colbie Caillat, Duffy, Adele)
2009: Alternative Rock (Kings of Leon, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, 3Oh!3)
Basically, I've tried most genres throughout my musical years. I always liked music and I just kept listening to new things.

Same here... I still like the stuff I liked back in the day, but ever since the days of the internet, I've found I've discovered a lot more stuff.

When I was young my 1st love was the Spice Girls I was obsessed, then S Club 7!! But I also listened to my Mum's music which was R&B and 90's Swing.
Now I love Urban/Pop artists- Ciara, Sugababes, Alesha Dixon (Going off her abit tho) and Beyonce! But I also listen to all sorts like MGMT!

I still like all the songs that I liked when I was young. Over the years I started listening to more and more genres like new age, metal and jpop. So my music taste hasn't changed, it's just gotten broader. But pop music will always be at the center of it.

Hey, Kworby!:snorts:
I've pretty much went through all genres growing up, not knowing what genres I liked the most. But ever since my high school years, I discovered 80's new wave and 50's doowop, and I've always loved 90's alternative. So yeah.

My music taste hasn't really changed, I've always loved 90s R&B. I like "You Belong With Me" by Taylor Swift, though, and I hate Country music.

My music taste changes constantly but right now I'm really into r&b, reggaeton, duranguense and adult contemp though pretty much I'll listen to anything as long as it's good. This wasn't always the case though, I've had a lot of phases and to be honest, looking back on my teenage years I'm embarassed by A LOT of the music I was into Let's see umm I went through a top 40 phase, a pop phase, a hip-hop phase, a happy punk phase ( ) and probably others I can't remember. The only constant seems to be r&b which I've loved since 1996. But I think I'm done going through phases, I'm really comfortable with my current taste and I think it's the kind of music that best defines my personality.

I used to love all metal...but it just started to make me sad.
I decided i wanted to listen to lighter, more upbeat music.
I have always loved pop, because it is so fun, and easy to listen to!
soo now...i love it
I do like most genres, but pop is what i listen to on a daily basis.
I actually really like raggae....bob marley! lol
