a good rule of thumb for social topics like this; if you're getting in your feelings, and youre getting defensive, they're talking about you
but, as a white person, you are born into a society that is euro-centric and is already set up for you to be successful. you have biases and privileges that are set in place before you can even talk. you can't do anything about it, so what you have to do is recognize your privilege and become an ally for less privileged people. simple things like signal boosting mistreatment/injustice for black people, tweeting/posting #BlackLivesMatter (no, not all lives matter. not everything is always about you) are all things that take no time and can make you a better ally. it's extremely important to not get defensive when your privilege is put in check, it's not your fault that you're privileged, but it is your fault if you do nothing about it.
white privilege does exist, and it will always exist.
