Kasich/Rubio would be a strong ticket. Thank God the republican base has no sense and won't vote for them in the primaries.

I really hope Rand Paul is the dark horse of this election and snatches the nomination away from the others. He'd do pretty well in a general election.

Why do you say Trump won? Plenty of people said he wasn't the winner.

Carly Fiorina is the real winner of the night, she'll probably bump into the top 10 now and could definitely be a VP pick. Kasich could also be a real contender, he showed his stuff.

There was a lot of Rubio support last night as he was clearly prepared and composed, but he wasn't in any confrontation at all so he was allowed to coast - Megyn Kelly should've keep pushing on the abortion question. CNN's Chris Cuomo DESTROYED him this morning on it. Once he's cornered like that in a debate setting in the future he'll crumble.

Scott Walker clearly didn't do enough foreign policy prep and came across as bland. Jeb's nerves overwhelmed virtually every point he had to offer. Chris Christie and Rand Paul tried to out Trump Trump and what they tried to show as passion on the issues (despite their substance) came across as tantrums to Republican voters and it made no difference. Carson wasn't confronted on his social conservatism enough and was allowed to coast as a result - Huckabee was and drove right off the extremist cliff. Trump doubled down, more love him and hate him, and he's still not going anywhere.

Views aside, Kasich and Fiorina won the debate last night, point blank. IMO.

Both of them deserve Top 5 placement in September.

As I said during the debate last night Rubio is seen as the Republican version of "Obama"...young, non confrontational, uplifting, and puts a "minority" feather in the cap of the GOP.
Unlike Obama... he is not a good orator, he gets rattled when took to task on issues, and changes his political positions on a whim...even with the FOX and establishment support, Rubio will be exposed eventually.

Trump is gonna do Trump... love him or hate him. The GOP better not turn on him, he is very spiteful... he will run 3rd party just to get back at them.


President Fiorina and VP Kasich... I could live with that. The US could use some "adults" running the show.

I actually like Governor Kasich and I think he could do a good job as President. I like that he was a part of the committee that helped balance the budget during the Clinton administration. It'll be interesting to see who will be the final two from both party. I'm an independent so I'll vote for whoever I think can help move this country forward in a positive manner. I'm excited for the election!

I'd love to side with Paul but seeing how the media treats Donald makes me like him more He should just run independent, let the Dems win, and in 4 years the Republicans will take two terms.
