Yep.
It would be very smart. She needs a pop song to hook the GP in, but she also needs to please the urban side, which is really probably the only genre still vaguely checking for her. Also, I reckon part of the reason this process has taken so long is because she's so versatile that it's understandably very hard to know what to do with her. This tringle business would address that.
I have no doubt they'll get the urban track right, because that comes easy to her. Whether she has a potential pop smash on her hands is the massive question.
