Last Friday Night is going to sell more than Wildest Dreams, I think this might be Taylor's first true flop.
Then we have The One That Got Away, Part of Me, and Wide Awake which were further sizable hits.

I don't think there are any more songs off 1989 that are really single worthy. The thing about Teenage Dream is that almost every song on the record had potential to be a smash single, whereas 1989 is just one "sonically cohesive" (as Taylor described it) album.

1989 has sold like only 1,000,000 more albums than Teenage Dream and that's because her US fan base is massive. I'm not saying that US fans don't count, but the album has only sold 2,000,000 copies more worldwide, which isn't that impressive of a ratio.

All of the Teenage Dream singles are remembered and solidified Katy as the star she is today.... The radio still plays them a lot. I only see "Shake It Off" and maybe "Blank Space" being remembered. Bad Blood only did well because of the "I hate Katy Perry" feud, try hard video with like 120 celebrities, and the remix. Last Friday Night used the rent-a-rapper remix strategy too, but the song was still selling strong regardless.

I know I'm not the majority here, but I think 1989 is one of the most boring, bland pop albums and this is coming from someone who usually puts Taylor Swift above a lot of her peers. Fearless, Speak Now, Red, and even her debut are a lot more enjoyable to me personally.

Also, 1989 was released during a time where literally none of her competitors had any material out. If it was released when Katy, Miley, Gaga, Beyoncé, or Bruno dropped their albums, I don't think it would've done as well. Teenage Dream was released amidst a TON of pop girl releases (BTW, 21, Femme Fatale, Loud) and still managed to do extremely well.
