Bey is not big in Germany anymore. She used to be quite popular up until 4 tho. However, Bey is still selling extremely well in the UK&Ireland, in countries like France or Sweden or the Netherlands. Shes doing fine in Europe. Not remarkably great, but fine.

100k is a pretty big milestone in Germany. Once you get to platinum you would normally need to sell another ''platinum'' (also 200k) to get the next certification. By having 3x;5x;7x...Gold an artists needs to sell/ship 100k to get the next certification in line. Each time by selling 100k more copies you get another certifications, instead of getting a cert for selling 200k more copies.
I find this actually really innovative.
