Apple’s Eddy Cue has revealed that 11 million users have signed up to Apple Music since its launch on June 30.
The announcement brings to an end weeks of speculation over Apple’s official numbers, and means the Cupertino giant has attracted an average of around 315,000 sign-ups every day.
Nine million people have signed up to the basic $9.99-per-month package, with two million subscribing to the $14.99-per-month family package.
I'm not anti-AM or anything but it's kinda dumb to take these numbers seriously yet. They are offering a 3 month free trial, let's just wait and see how many subscribers are left in October

These numbers are definitely going to drop once the trial ends. A lot of people who signed up for AM just did it because it's free music, and they don't fully understand how streaming works. I literally had to spend half an hour explaining to my mom why she doesn't just get to keep all of the songs she's already saved if she cancels her account at the end of the free trial
No. They said 'they heard' AM had over 10m+ subscribers from insiders, but nothing was confirmed or explained further. This is confirmation and a straight-forward figure.
They also said Future's album was streamed 11M times supposedly on AM, which you might've confused.
