It's not really that surprising that they've white washed the film considering that a lot dialogue around Stonewall excludes the trans women and POC who were so instrumental in starting the event that birthed the gay rights movement that has benefitted white cis gays more than anyone else.
I've seen a documentary on Marsha Johnson (Pay it No Mind, on YouTube), it's really sad to see someone like her getting swept under the rug.
The black transwoman is there...in the background in a non-historically accurate way
The problem isn't Hollywood; it's the general public. If you're mad about this, don't just boycott the film. You need to pay to see a black-lead film if you want to see Hollywood include more non-white people in leading roles.
Not many normal looking people at all.
