Next time I expect something really different. Maybe she won't be on the cover, just a street or a sea or something random. Or something connected to the album, with a hidden meaning.
For album cover I've always imagined B&W photo of her walking on highway in Colorado desert while holding a guitar in one hand and cigarette in the other. Sounds cheesy?

I agree, she doesn't necessarily have to be in the album cover. We just need something simple, iconic & atmospheric. Maybe something digitally rendered.
As much as we want some of those covers, that's never gonna happen. Too much indie and she was never that kind of artist to begin with.
I personally love her covers and they fit her personality.
i think the funhouse photoshoots are my favorites. the desert ones at night where her boobies are painted in gold -- that whole specific shoot is amazing! just that weird feel of glam space strangeness is incredible! -- the one with the hourglass, the one from the back cover where she's sitting down with the gramophone next to her <3
i guess, i just need a theme again for the next record. i liked the retro-design for TTAL, but all in all it was too unfocused and a bit too bland. i would have preferred more focus on the b/w pictures.
try this photoshoot was also incredible. she looked stunning and the pix oozed coolness and attitude.
Yes!!! I was also thinking about her covers (there was an article on 50 best covers on a music website) and I wish hers was more subtle yet thematic.
how awesome would it be if she did a whole VHS artwork theme for her next record? i loooved going through the shelves in videostores (before i worked in one) and just look at the cover art on the VHSs, especially the horror ones from the 60s through 80s were super creative.

and i'm not dead <3<3<3 yes! but i wished it would be longer! the melody to it is great, but it's too short and didn't really max to its potential. but it's still a great song and one she should keep around during future concerts.
