Of course the ID law is discriminatory because its meant to stop voter fraud coming from illegal immigrants who are almost certainly minorities. Voting practices in general need to be massively reformed to stop both voter fraud and discrimination. That being said.. theres a real issue when its considered discrimination to require somebody to present identification proving you're a US citizen

The same people crying about the law have to show ID to buy a case of beer, drive or smoke.
