I love Rachel McAdams, but her character is just... there.

They are making it obvious he's gay
, so I don't think the word predictable fit here. Maybe it is more a part of his story this season as opposed to a reveal towards the end.

I actually really liked this episode, way better than what I was expecting. The ending was a surprise obviously
I think it was Vince Vaughn's character who shot Colin Farrell's character
it is nice that Ani and sheriff's department knows about the corruption. I literally couldn't care less about a self-hating closeted gay, if it wasn't for Taylor Kitsch I would've probably skipped all those parts Oh I hope we'll see more of Abigail Spencer in the future, I love her
They should have titled this show something different. They're only calling it "True Detective" to ride the buzz of last season. This whole story kinda blows.
Surprisingly enjoying the season so far, but then again, I'm a big sucker for LA settings. The cinematography is great and those aerial shots are to die for.

Oh I hope we'll see more of Abigail Spencer in the future, I love her
