That scene with Carole has to be one of my favourite scenes ever. I got goosebumps everywhere. You forget her backstory and how she thought she would live her life as a traditional housewife and a mother. Especially with how young and free she is concerning sex and dating. She is a woman with so many layers.
Love her.
It's refreshing in a season filled with so much petty drama to see some real substance and depth in the form of Carole's current storyline. Really moving to see her journey and how her past has shaped her current life and attitude. She's like the Yolanda of NYC.

I agree with that Yo comparison! They're sort of the neutral ones but can be really petty sometimes, but are ultimately the girls with the most layers to them.
It's funny because Carole and Yo were friends before either were housewives. Carole actually wanted to date David but found out he was taken and ended up liking Yolanda better.
I actually think what makes this season great is the balance of ridiculous drama, explosive fun, a sisterhood chemistry, and really compelling individual storylines.
Not only Carole, but also Bethenny, Ramona, Dorinda and Sonja too have brought it with the personal storylines.
Tonight was a great episode. Ramona and Bethenny's fight was actually a lot more intense than they made out in the promo. I thought it'd be a little argument but Bethenny went for ha neck.

I think it's just for the show and to secure her spot.
I'm not too mad as she really made the show for the last quarter of the season, but it's sad she had to end real friendships over it.
