Religion should be taught objectively and focus on every single religion in school so kids can make a choice once they turn 18/21 if they want to join one or not.... of course they should also teach creationism, it would cause a lot less problems. Religion can only be practiced in a church/temple/mosque, not at home/at school/work, it would be a better world

I agree. I was born into a strict religious family. Honestly, most religious people are good people, but being forced to live that lifestyle and having no choice about it is awful. Some people in my my religion would kick their children out of home if they stopped going to church (this was when they were teenagers, if they were young kids the parents would just force them to go to church).

My parents would've never kicked me out of home, but I remember one week I told my mother I didn't want to go to church and she said she'd hit me if I didn't go. It was so boring. My entire childhood I only had one free day a week, and even on a lot of Saturdays there were church events to go to.
One of my relatives decided to leave the religion, and his wife and all his children chose to stay in the religion over stay with him (he's now moved to another country, married another woman and started another family). I know two other examples of his happening in real life with people I know, and I've read many more on the Internet.
However, I don't think this will ever happen. Imagine the outrage from conservatives if the Government tried to make it illegal to force religion on children. I think some of the fanatic Christians would be driven to terrorism by that if I'm honest. This would anger them 10x more than gay marriage.
