this "taylor is a saint" talk is getting so annoying.

Seeing as how people got shot maybe he is partially right. Pop girl beefs are different though and mostly comedy.

u know whats the difference? Whereas people like Bey get huge praise for their work ethic and talent and basically their work, in Taylors case they try to get the image across of her being otherwordly great/friendly and so down-to-earth and basically the perfect human being. This talk surpasses her work as a musician by far, and tbh, I have never in my life met a perfect human being. So this talk about her and the media trying to force this image down on us starts to make me turn into somebody who dislikes Taylor more and more. Im fine when her music success is praised, but this talk of her generosity when we all know she can be a true b..... as well just like any other person is a bit too much imho.

If you really want to force the race card issue, remember Drake is Biracial. And he was raised by his Mom's White Jewish family in the predominantly White upper-middle class suburbs of Toronto. So Drake grew up knowing far more about "White" culture than "Black" culture. I know he is still close to his White Mom, but I'm not sure about his Black father. Drake is talented, but he definitely didn't "Start From The Bottom" as his hit song says.

And those mentioning the "beefs" as harmful to Rap/Hip-hop have a good point. I was an undergraduate student when Tupac and the Notorious B.I.G. we're gunned down just six months apart, and many other rappers have been shot and/or killed since that time. I like some of the Rap Music out today, but how anyone could view these "beefs" as a positive part of a music formats' community is beyond me.

I've followed the music industry for over 30 years. Even though Active Rock, Alternative Rock, and Country are my favorite genres, I keep up with the news in pretty much all formats. And I see these spats between artists, regardless of race or format, to be extremely immature. And these verbal altercations over Twitter send a really poor message to their younger fans.
