We are a republic. But a republic is a form of democracy.

Capitalism works on paper, but human greed takes over an corrupts.

Example includes the world around us. People are quick to attack communism but fail the see the failures of capitalism.

Why do you think you see a growing inequality, and rising poverty is capitalist countries? The system only works for the privileged few, the society is already unequaled from the start. We see it all the time the "99% versus the 1%". The only people who would want capitalism are the people who are apart of that 1% because for everyone that system is a failure.

Communism is a utopia, it would never work in reality

Capitalism and democracy are not perfect systems. But their flaws are preferable to the flaws in other systems.

And not all capitalist countries have huge inequality. Nordic countries for example have the lowest income inequality, the top income per capital levels, the highest standard of living, and the lowest corruption perception index (although their socioeconomic system incorporates certain socialist characteristics).

So you are saying Apple and Microsoft didn't lift millions of people in to the middle and upper class? Gates and Jobs didn't make their billions in a vacuum.

Not only do these companies employee 10,000's of people, 1000's of companies were created because of them. Mine included.

I am sorry if Capitalism didn't work out for you or you don't see a path where it will.

There isn't really a system that would perfectly work.
