I'd have to say Britney, I really enjoyed her back then. Looking back, "Baby One More Time" is still my top album of 1999.

Probably a tie between Shakira's ¿Dónde están los Ladrones? and Christina Aguilera's debut. Funny 'cause I discovered Britney just one year later when Oops came out.
