My instincts were right. "Dark Places" was boring and left me unmoved. Poor Gillian Flynn. What a difference David Fincher, Trent Reznor, and Atticus Ross. It's not like "Gone Girl" was spectacular, but at least the way it was shot was of quality, and at least "Gone Girl" gave us an unsettling, yet awesome score (see: The Way He Looks At Me).
Anyway, I couldn't stand watching Chloë Grace Moretz. I wish Hollywood would stop giving her roles. Hollwood, stop hiring Moretz and hire the more talented Abigail Breslin instead. You can tell that Moretz thinks she's "so edgy" in her roles. She's not a good actress. I want her dead. Charlize Theron was only interesting when she was bouncing off of Nicholas Hoult. I think I like Nicholas Hoult. I'm looking forward to seeing more from him. But the most interesting part of "Dark Places" was Libby Day's mom, Patty Day. I wish the story focused on her, instead of Libby (Charlize Theron). I really enjoyed Christina Hendricks' performance as Patty. She reminded me of a talented version of Sarah Paulson. (Sorry, Sarah Paulson is overrated and was the least talented actress in "12 Years A Slave," and that movie had Lupita Nyong'o in it.)
In conclusion, I like Nicholas Hoult, I want Chloë Grace Moretz murdered in her sleep, and even though Christina Hendricks stole the film, "Dark Places" is still mediocre at best and will be forgotten pretty quickly. If you read the book, go ahead and see it. If you haven't read the book, just go ahead and skip it and watch "Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation" instead.

Bad advice. If you've read the book, don't ruin it by seeing the movie.
If you haven't read the book, read it, and don't bother with the movie.
Her parents named her after James Taylor. And her fans are called Swifties. If you haven't guessed who it is by now, you are clearly living under a VERY large rock.
One magazine headline said it best: Taylor Swift IS the music industry.
I agree. I didn't even recognize him in "Mad Max" until someone told me it was him. Shows that he's a versatile actor.
The only time Chloë Grace Moretz was "cool" was that one time she said the
c-word in the first "Kick Ass" movie. She's been annoying and untalented ever since.

I don't disagree.
Slight props for trying to make Carrie happen. I blame Julianne.

Well that's unfortunate. I liked the book.
I kind of liked Chloë in Dark Shadows (Johnny Depp comedy movie) but she wasn't given enough screen time to annoy me so idk.
But wait, didn't Britney put both her kids at risk numerous times ?!
Almost dropping them, not putting them in car seats, etc.
Once again misinformed.
She didn't drop them and many parents have been in a situation where their babies have been in their arms and almost fell.
She put them in the car seat but put them in the wrong direction. She put them facing the front when she was supposed to face the back.

Mess. clearly you all have not been around kids. While this was unfortunate, kids grab alot of things. They grab things that could be weapons like glasses, utensils and many things...
People are so bothered that she regained custody of her kids after her bad time and is not accused of faking her pregnancies. While I believe Beyonce had a natural birth of Blue it's still a kii how her baby bump folded like an oragamy (sp.) figure.
That's not the equivalent to being a criminal but if deflection is your game play on

I've realized that people hate on Bey because they are jealous, myself included. I mean...the woman is perfect in almost every way possible. There's no reason to hate. Most of her fans are the pits though.

Boourns. But thanks for the advice.
But that's just my opinion, Kat! You may like the movie! Just don't go into it with big expectations.

But once they release a movie adaptation of a book that you've read (and enjoyed), there's no way that you can't not
see the movie adaptation, regardless of the reviews. It's human nature. It's unncontrollable. You bones say you must see it.
