Mess. Black people face tons of discrimination when it comes to their hair. If they wear it natural, they're made to feel inferior because "beautiful, straight, easy-to-manage, white people hair is better". They're assaulted by ads every day suggesting that curly, "nappy" hair is bad. If they choose to straighten/relax it, they're accused of "wanting to be white". It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't type of situation. This march is extremely necessary, and I hope it spreads to the US and other places where it could have an impact too tbh. It's something most people probably aren't even aware of but it actually is a problem.
It's already bad enough that the styling options for black peoples' hair is so limited. Black people already go through enough inferiority bs. They shouldn't be made to feel inferior about their hair too.
