What did I say would probably happen earlier today lol (assuming this isn't sarcasm related to my earlier post). This would be at least the fourth time a rap album was surprised or rushed released when Taylor was about to retake the Top Spot.
Now, in a interview with Philadelphia’s Power 99, Dre’s N.W.A. group mate Ice Cube has revealed the entire album will be dropping on August 1st. Update: According to Rolling Stone, Dre will announce the album’s release during his Pharmacy radio show Beats 1 Saturday. However, it’s unlikely the album will actually see release on that day.
I'll be interested in seeing if Dre doesn't change his mind and release his album digitally this week so he can get a #1 and not risk getting stuck behind Luke Bryan. I just have a funny feeling this isn't the end of this story.
