She didn't start the conversation, no but she did contribute to it.
I still think it's unfair to say no one else can talk about it if they haven't been overtly vocal about it before because that's not what it's about. It's simply about getting it out there and talking about it.
from the stated tweets in the OP, she completely dead on. She's voiced her opinion on numerous factors and inequalities and is written off as the stigma of BBB 'Bitter Black Bitch' is bestowed upon her, yet others do the same months/years later and they getting a standing ovation.
