Economically for the most part yes except for the trade deals like NAFTA which hurt a lot of blue collar workers. Socially I would say not really, based on what's stated above and they way he handled crime. I wouldn't vote for him if he ran now, b/c he's a bold-faced liar and can't be trusted to be truthful on even non-governmental matters.
