there are homophobes and religious extremists everywhere, in every country in the world-nobody is gay friendly by that standard. the fact that gay pride parades are even a thing that is allowed to happen in israel makes it way more gay friendly than the rest of the middle east.
I've never met an anti gay Jew. I'm Jewish and have been to Israel and have family serving in the army and government with Israel. There always are sick disgusting people like the one who stabbed earlier today but that is the exception not the rule
