I think she's signing single album deals with labels to simply distribute and market the album. She's handling all the costs of recording with her Nuyorican imprint, and then she's finding different labels to market the album and then they split the costs.

I personally don't think that's a bad idea. When you think about it, regardless of how hard she's been flopping, she HAS to be turning a profit if she's continuing to release albums and singles on the regular.

music is a form of staying relevant, even if she breaks even, she will still do it for the sake of her celebrity status

I think it's actually smart that she's doing it. whoever do the best job in marketing her music will get more deals Capital failed HARD with A.K.A. so now it's time to change
