Her RECENT album. What about every album before that? Let's not act like Kelly or Alicia have been flopping their entire careers. Everything an artist puts out isn't going to automatically do well regardless of what label they're on.

I'm not denying that RCA doesnt be slacking sometimes but there ARE successful acts on their roster. Both Alicia and Kelly are still successful artists who have had YEARS worth of success. The potential is definitely there. And Zayn already has a following and a huge fanbase. I think he'll be fine.

Yes, and he has Iggy's manager now so I'm sure promo will be fine.

It's just rare nowadays to sign artists who haven't shown much musical viability with mixtapes and stuff, but I guess this is a special case.

I'm not talking about what those artists did before under that label nor am I trying to undermine their success in general I am talking about right NOW and right now, the state of RCA is ....eh.

I do think Zayn will succeed there tho bc like someone said, since they don't have many artists doing great currently, he'll probably be top priority.
