I was never into 'Ill Remember', thought it was cuté only, but i heard it on radio on a sunday morning a few weeks ago and it clicked for some reason. Now i really like teh song.

There's nothing really wrong with it, I've just always seen it as Ray of Light Part II. And why go Jessica Simpson when you got RIhanna?
Music is much different to ROL. It's natural progression I think... It's not even going for the same sound as ROL so that confuses me when people say that.
The acoustic/electro sound of the album is really distinct. You could say "Why go soft when you can go hard?" about Music & American Life though, because they're much more similar than Music and ROL.
Music's forgettable because it had nothing that much remarkable unlike the two albums it was sandwiched in-between; ROL had the Grammies and AL Bush's controversy/US blacklisting. Music had her last #1 and... WIFLFAG controversy Never understood the hate, Music is an excellent record and a perfect bridge from ROL to AL.
