There are actually paying subscribers on Tidal + Tidal has indie artists. Just because they aren't up to par with Spotify and Apple Music doesn't mean they're not successful. There are different definitions for successful so y'all can chill. I'm not defending Tidal (I don't use it) but don't act ignorant and like nobody uses it
