ET has learned that the "No Sleeep" singer has shut down production on her upcoming The Unbreakable World Tour to be by her father's side. On his 87th birthday, Saturday, July 25, Joe Jackson suffered a stroke and was admitted to a hospital in Brazil.
The 49-year-old singer will stay with her father until he is stable.
The tour isn't postponed. Janet just isn't at rehearsal but her dancers and band are at rehearsal.
Janet is in Brazil currently with her niece Stevanna (her brother Randy's daughter) at the hospital with Joe according to Brazilian news. I wouldn't expect the tour dates to get postponed since the tour doesn't start until August 31st unless Joe's health gets worse within the next month.
