The struggle to get a #1 single in Asia.

Sugar, the 3rd single, debuted at #2 in the USA, being blocked by Animals (her own song) and then went #1 then stayed some weeks inside the top 10 and then now is back at #1 in its 19th week. LONGEVITY.

My artist has yet to get one there. She did get a #2 once tho, which made me pressed.

I don't even have a #2 there.



I'm about to release her 2nd lead single, let's see how things go.

Do a collab with an asian artist (or someone w/ 100% popularity in Asia). It increases your popularity by a little and you'll permanently do better in that country.

Her second album debuted at #1 in the USA with 393,000 sold vs +550,000 of her debut album.

They have low sales like that. You need to focus on USA, Europe and UK. If your artist is huge there, you can sell +10m just in those regions.

My artist kinda declined too with her latest album. The lead single is the first to not reach the top 3 in most regions + it's not having any longevity at all anywhere except Europe. It's weird since it had really high opening sales.

I hate how albums don't have that much longevity. I feel like if you have a successful single from the album, it should boost album sales. Am I wrong?

I think I was flopping because of my genre. I just changed it and lost half of my fans. I guess this is what selling out feels like.

What genre it was?

Alternative Pop.

I looked at it on the chart popularity and it just wasn't half as popular as "Pop".
