And you know, kids aren't in my future for at least six more years, minimum. I hope whoever I end up with doesn't want a child too fast, because I tend to like guys who are like 4-7 years older than me, so...

Or someone with my point of view: I don't specifically want one, but I don't doubt my ability to raise and love a child. So it's basically all up to my partner's desires.
For me, it's pretty much a-- omg my mind is blanking, what is the word?! I'm trying to think of the word that means that I would not be in a LTR with someone who wanted kids, even if I loved everything else about them.
It's just that I've had traumatic experiences with children in the past, and even today I struggle to contain my composure whenever I'm around any child. So I don't think I could handle parenting, as much as I do love children somewhere deep down. I used to always picture my future with children when I was much younger! Then, I imagined myself with a woman because I didn't know I was gay, but I've always imagined a future raising children.
Do you ever think about donating eggs if you won't ever have kids?
No, I don't want to pass my genes down, they're ****. Mental health issues, alcohol dependency issues, etc. Those things don't need to be passed down to any innocent children. Maybe a surrogate for an infertile couple because if I ain't using my womb why not let someone else right

Same, kinda. I've just always imagined myself raising children as an adult. Teaching and taking care of my own kids. It's something that I really want one day. Not for a long time though.
But I can understand and respect those who don't feel the same way.
This all started because I have a 4 yo sister and her dad (different father) is like an asshole who doesn't look out for her so here comes ultraviolento playing dad on a daily basis, and it's a nice feeling to protect and seeing them grow up and ****
But I'm scared of babies tbh, they're so fragile, too much responsibility
Glad to see I ain't the only human alive who isn't interested in having children

nn. It's hard for me though because I'm female and people assume all females want kids and I just know as I get older people are gonna bug me about it and ask if I feel like I missed an opportunity
