Well, Nicki's tweet about "When your video celebrates women with thin bodies, you will get a VOTY nomination" clearly alluded to Taylor, people were saying it did before Taylor even said anything.
And you guys are completely missing the point about "pitting women against each other". It refers to when the media makes things a competition between women when it isn't one....like Applause vs Roar. Nicki's tweet was making it sound like Taylor got a nomination instead of Nicki, acting like the women in the category where the only ones "against" each other.
It doesn't mean that another woman can wrong you and you have to be butterflies and rainbows about it. Katy betrayed her, she wrote a song about it (and didn't even insult her). It could have been about a male friend and it would be the same exact notion, its literally just about being betrayed by a friend. I really don't understand why you guys aren't getting this.
This **** gets more ridiculous everyday.
