She has had three solid hits, DFH is much bigger than TOY, and LIGLY looks set to smash... also her album is selling well and went #1 in the US and UK... Katy didn't achieve that until album #2. AATB was also much bigger culturally than IKAG, and Meghan's YouTube power is impressive.
I initially thought Katy's debut was more impressive too when I had just started making the thread but when I checked stats Meghan is on her way to get her album to platinum status in the US (in todays market this is amazing). She also had a massive debut single and 3 pretty impressive follow ups (statistically speaking). Plus Like I'm Gonna Loose You and her feature in Marvin Gaye are sort of set to smash internationally too
also Meghan's debut tour the "MTrain Tour" is apparently grossing more then the "Hello Kitty Tour" (could be wrong)

Honestly, I think it's cool that Meghan's debut is pretty different musically speaking from the rest of everything out there right now though. One Of The Boys kept pretty close to the pop-rock format that had been pretty successful by the time the album came out.

Excuse me? I've made it VERY clear that I love Katy's personality and I think she is a big success and what not. I just do not use her music too much (apart for the gems she serves each era), but I never drag or try to shade her music quality EVER. so keep that troll comment to yourself.

+ I don't see how I've been "trolling Katy lately" when I've only made 1 thread about her recently in which I ask if Taylor ignoring Katy's response was a smart decision. Clearly not a troll question. Especially when I formulated a proper and respectful OP.
I will advise you to not judge a member based on his sig. It's not just because I like Gaga and Taylor's music that I have to automatically hate or troll Katy you know? in fact to most of the Katy Kats (Lokopanda etc) I'm known as a fair stan who never drags or shades Katy at all. I hope you join the rest and see me that way too from now on.
