How did your friends and family react to finding out you were gay? or did they know from the get go?

I remember coming home one day with a gorgeous chocolate football player at my school. Nothing naughty happened just some flirting.

I guess my dad heard it and legit threw condoms at me while telling me "Don't be loud".

I know my at least 2 people out of 7 in my family know. I don't think they know that I know. I'm waiting to leave so when I come out, I won't have to deal with 7 people being annoying about it.

I got outed
My brother already knew because he's smart and capable of picking up signs, but my parents were pretty shocked - Mum was on board within a day but Dad took a while to be comfortable with it.

I havent told them, I've only told my sister and she was really accepting about it. I know my family will most likely accept me but idk its weird ngl

They knew before I did. Very supportive, accepting, liberal, open-minded family. I love that they break the stereotypes of Jamaican/Caribbean ignorance.

Mum was okay, Dad took a while. He said 'no you're not, it's a trend' but he doesn't want me telling any of my family on his side
