No one has a problem with Taylor's success, it's the fact she's fake and manipulative that people are beginning to give her backlash.

Most people tend to not enjoy someone who's shoved down their throats 24/7. And it's not like Taylor isn't the one doing most of it. She never leaves the public eye. She engages in fake public relationships/friendships so she can exploit them for her albums and for press/attention, etc all while trying to keep a victim mentally.

Quit acting like it's some "people are trying to tear women down" agenda when it's not. Yet again, it's using/abusing feminism to further one's self.

While I won't respond to every point brought up in the article, I will say that I get what they're saying. Taylor presents herself as the friend you didn't know you had. But she's saying one thing and doing another. She makes it clear that she's all business, that she wants to be on top but she doesn't come out and say it. We've seen peeks of it with the music streaming letters and her tweet to Nicki Minaj. The problem people have with her isn't that she's on top, it's that she's not being forthright about how she got there.

I feel that the best thing for Taylor would be some good backlash and a flop. In her 10 year career, she's never had to face poor sales or anything more than passing drama. Her mindset is coming from that. I feel that she thinks that as long as she has the biggest selling album, she's going to get her way. Even worse, I think that she expects to get her way because she has the biggest selling album.

What about pre-full-pop, when Her haters were like "no1currs about Taylor; no impact; Her songs aren't known; She's only a good seller cuz country fans are so myriad and loyal," etc? She was shoved down people's throats despite being apparently not really being on the cultural radar?
