I don't think I've ever felt so indifferent on a celeb feud in a long time.
On the one hand, Nicki is right that Anaconda deserved a VOTY nom and probably would've gotten one if it had been done by Miley Cyrus or Taylor Swift...but the whole way she went about it seemed really insincere. Especially since 9/10 she wouldn't be complaining about racism in the industry if she was in Bey's, Bruno's, or Kendrick's place among the nominees in that category. & her going from body-shaming to racism seemed a tad graspy and desperate.
But, then on the other hand Taylor herself does seem fake af and Katy kinda needed to call her out for being a hypocrite. However, Taylor is right for @'ing Nicki bc she was throwing shade, faving shade, and subbing all around. But purposely made sure she didn't directly mention her just so she could play play like Taylor hopped out unprovoked; that was always gonna be her argument.
At the end of the day though Zendaya **** on the girls.
I see the Die Young and Edge of Glory influences in the CFTS vid. One of the best videos of the year. Really hope it wins at the end over Seleno's song (very unlikely tho)

Honestly I think it's a diversion tactic because the media is picking up on Katy pointing out Taylor is a hypocrite and she wants to draw attention away from it. She/her PR team are extremely smart, there's no denying that
Nicki and Taylor both won. Neither were really gonna be affected, especially since the former has come out of a Nazi controversy, a Mariah controversy, a religion controversy, people thinking she was a republican when Obama was up for re-election, etc.
And the latter is the sweet little harmless white girl.
