Why is it a shame when a Jewish attorney hasn't read it vs. any other attorney?
Is he saying we are in a constitutional crisis? I don't think so. Alan is a
prominent constitutional scholar so I would assume he has read it a few times.
It's the lack of transparency, last minute back room deals and last minute concessions that he is talking about on a deal of this magnitude it should have been open to Congress.
For example, why would you start to lift the arms embargo after 5 years when it has nothing to do with their nuke program but leave the American hostages off the table? Why give them a 24 day window to clear out any evidence of actively? Not all actively is going to leave behind a signature and they are going to start making their research units more mobile.
He has every right to be afraid for Israel if they get a nuke, they will have 15 years to work on other aspects of the program, have ballistic missile technology and an instant break out time. That is if they follow the rules, if they don't follow the rules they will have the bomb much faster; see North Korea.
