It's about as cliched as "Libra = indecisive". You're right; the sign is about duality, intellect, and communication. It's only the immature Geminis that can seem somewhat two-faced. But it's only because they have such a dual, mutable nature, along with great mental dexterity. They refuse to be tied down to just one viewpoint or to always have to wear the same "mask", so to speak.
