But then, why does he still have the Puzzle? I thought it was sent to the depths of hell along with the other Items at the end of the series.

Unless this is an alternate dimension where Atem won the Duel. Dear Lord, I NEED Yugi to shine. His duel with Atem proved that he's the King of Games.

He doesn't have the puzzle tho. The teaser shows a shot of it but Yugi doesn't have it in his scenes nor magazine pictures. I think it will come back cuz of the villain. Maybe he's one of the murdered persons whose blood created the millennium items just like Bakura's family?

But that suggestion of different dimension could work. Mostly if they clash.

OH MY GOD! So excited for this movie! I saw this title for the thread the other day and didn't bother to look because I thought it was gonna be a movie for whatever **** spinoff series is currently out, but to my surprise it's not!

All the original characters and everything! Are they gonna be dueling by the old rules? How's he going to come back? I wonder WHY the pharaoh is coming back... Yugi is stronger and doesn't need him (but i'm not against it of course). Excited to eventually hear about the plot. Yugi/Atem vs Kaiba...the nostalgia

I love that all of these old animes are coming back. Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, now this!

I was still using a toon deck even when it wasn't strong, it's my favorite archetype, even before all the support was released.

So I'm so excited they're back, I hope Pegasus shows up in some way on the newer shows like he was a main character in the original series and in GX.

Yu-Gi-Oh! isn't coming back tho, since it hasn't finished since it began.

We still don't know what will happen in the movie.
The title is "The Dark Side of Dimensions" so what everyone thinks right now is that the movie will reveal how the different Dimensions were created. The biggest speculation is that Yugi and Kaiba had something to do with it, thus Yuya and Yuzu will have to fix what they did.

Still, we don't know a lot. Just that Kaiba will be mostly the main focus of the movie.

Well, right now Pegasus is dead so I don't think he can show up. Lots of years have passed. In GX only 10 years passed so it was understandable. In 5D's there were documents of his death so...

According to Wiki, he's dead in the manga wayyy back when by Bakura, but in the Anime, he was killed in the movie, but when Yugi, Jaden, and the irrelevant other boy went back in time, they fixed it and Pegasus was shown alive giving away cards at the end of the movie #ModernDayMotherTeresaOfYugioh

So I'm just gonna say he's immortal and he's somewhere hiding now.

And yeah, that appears in the Tournament, so he's dead.

Explains why the atrocity that was Zexal exists. Poor Pegasus, his vision was tainted.

Right? And who makes the cards now that he's gone? Who took over Indistrial Illutions? Who uses the fancy glasses and makes the stone tablets into playing cards? (like he did with the Rainbow Dragon)
