lean on has had (slightly) more longevity than see you again in most places but see you agains peak was bigger almost everywhere. See You Again edges it on WW i think
If only selling 195k copies and being the #1 seller would guarantee a T10 spot...
Out of the Woods, Her robbery.
#JusticeForTaylor.
Cheerleader is looking like a sub-Rude, esp if it can't get 200k in a 7-day period (7/11 * 276k would be 176k.) or even 180k.
Meanwhile, Grammy Blood had 3 extra weeks of 200k+ copies and was blocked then.
A list of #1s this decade that had just 1 200k area week, or 0:
Nothin’ On You, Rude Boy 0
One More Night, Just the Way You Are, Only Girl, S&M 1
(Rihanna, her radio power ignoring sales.)
Lean's leap was expected tbh. It made no sense for it to have slipped last week when it has been been showcasing top ten status across all formats. As alex noted, it practically remained the same stats this week (though he didn't see it going Top 10), when its stats have been showing top ten worthiness.
The Hills has a little amount of airplay, its streaming must be really helping it. Abel got his third top ten this year, all of them solo, I am so proud of him.
It was Streaming, Gary also notes that the majority of the points are coming from Streaming. I keep saying this: Some troubles were going on with Nielsen recopyling "Lean On" longevity last week, it went down from 7M to 4M like nothing. And please, only 4M streams are coming from Spotify alone
The top 5 isn't that awful sales wise but after that...
True.
