Where did I disrespect exactly? It's not preachy its stating my opinion and explaining it, I'm sorry that you have neither the mental capacity to understand it nor the intelligence to properly respond.

And there we have it, a religious person admitting they fool themselves and only believe to comfort themselves when life is hard... That's what friends, family, and therapists are for. It may be depressing, but at least it's realistic. Religion is still at the basis of most wars and conflicts, especially cuz everyone interprets religion to fit their own beliefs/views/opinions, hence all the conflicts even among people who believe in the same book and god

I'm not denying a lot of people fool themselves, but its the placebo effect in my mind, if it makes you feel happier then who's it hurting? What I meant was many people don't have the resources such as feeling they can turn to friends or family, and in the UK at least you're often looking at 3/4 month waiting list to see a therapist. I'm not forcing my opinion on anyone but I feel even if a belief iin a God or any kind of higher power is one extra resource to stop people even going to the lengths of suicide then its a good thing, and why it may not be in the form of God I am simply saying I hope for everyone to have something aside from the physical "support" around them to pick them up when they're down.
