empire is rather bad ghetto show. there are soooo myna far better dramas. i'm shocked this even got a nomination.

They should be glad Taraji got nominated. She's the only one that deserved a nod.The show in itself has been messy polities. If they're hankering for a nomination the only thing they have to bolster that is ratings and not reviews. Have a damn seat.

The ratings do not equal quality though, NCIS has been one of best rated drama series for years but they've never received a nomination either. For Emmys to take network TV seriously the writers especially need to step up their games, the closest one was The Good Wife's 5th season but that was unlucky because of True Detective's category change and Breaking Bad splitting the final season

Also the fact that they ditched the highest rated comedy too should be a hint that they don't care about the ratings.

Empire will be nominated next year. The backlash from the media & fans have been too real. Season 2 will be lit
