They're going for a specific sound. We all know they can sing. But this isn't DK, this isn't them solo, they're going for a certain type of music and that's what they'll deliver. I'm sure there's got to be one or two songs where they vocally kill it, but I understand to an extent why vocals aren't front and center.

TGL grew on me so much; I love it now. I think "Eyes On Horizon" would be my least favorite. All the tracks slay regardless.

I think they're still indie but they got a distributer. Like the DK3 album was under the Stereo Types label and distributed by Mass Appeal.

Aubrey said that there wasn't going to be a 'lead single' and that it was just an entire body of work. They are signed to Caroline Records, the same label that 50 Cent and other artists are signed to. I checked their website. They are distributed by Universal Music, which is actually a huge backing. Technically, they are indie with full control but they also get a budget.

They aren't listed on the website, but here it is along with other artists that are signed. Aubrey confirmed this was their label in an interview.

That's a shame. 2-3 of these songs are definitely summer bops. How are they planning on selling without a single for exposure. I normally don't care about sales but if they got some backing I would assume the person backing this wants to see some dinero.
