GODS XX have at least half the credit for this one as Rihanna sampled their iconic "Intro", hence that trippy and amazing beat. Rihanna her vocals do reach screechy territory but with time I learned to like it anyway and its honestly one of her best tracks for me.
Eeveelution: Her bleating in the chorus nearly ruins the song for me, but you could never completely ruin a song with that sample.
Stan!
Bloomers: Nice production even though it lifts completely from Intro, but Rih makes it better. The only thing holding this back is the "YeaaaAAAaahhhhHHh, NooooOoOOOooo" intro.
Drake's lead single, "Headlines" proved to be a nice success although in the long scheme of things its actually a lessor on the album. Single privilege I suppose? algjaf at Drake only having 3 left!
When I first got the album this was my favourite song by a longshot.
It's still among the best but I guess with time it's been replaced (by a song you all eliminated several places ago ). Never Let Me Go has what I want from a Florence song - restraint. It makes it more pleasant to listen to and doesn't blow things out too quickly so I can return to it later.
That being said:
Eeveelution: I'm not petty enough to give it a 0, just because it's popular. But I have never liked this at all, it's just so bland to me, which is not something I expect from Florence.
Interesting sidenote - if you're wondering why its so low:
Eevee gave it a 1, and Wonderlust a 2.
Both shockers since they were some of Florence's biggest stans.
