I am not a McCain fan but I am not going to disrespect his service and all other POW's by saying they 'got captured' so they are less heroic than other soldiers. Most of these guys were drafted and they didn't have a choice. Don't hate the soldier hate the people that sent them.

Bad move, but people will probably forget about in two weeks for him to still be on the debate stage. The media will run with for a good week, but I don't see the average voter letting it change their decision at least for now. He already walked it back. I don't see how an off the cuff statement means he is bogus. He gave a full speech at the conference, his opinion on McCain has nothing to do with anything.
