I can't remember all of it, but I do remember JT's 20/20 Experience being released around the time I joined and a certain member made so many threads/posts downplaying every male artist that isn't JT.

Not at all. The monsters were basically the dominant fanbase on here still around that time. Katy & Rih were doing well but their fanbases weren't as mean/insufferable + Adele was slaying everyone but she didn't have much fans. If anything, in the start of 2012, the monsters were calling everyone flops
When I joined Hilary Duff was recording/releasing the album of the year "Dignity", Britney was in mid-breakdown and the "Blackout" era was beginning and that's all I remember.
