I won't lash Cher because she has said black lives matter specifically MANY times without even alluding the other. Zac's only statement ever on the topic included both so that's why he got dragged.

Cher's been supporting since the beginning and is one of the only celebs actually talking about it consistently.

at least she's raising awareness of the senseless killing of yet another unarmed black woman by racist law enforcement

Cher is such a goddess.

She still said that black lives matter, so I'll let this one slide.

She doesn't deserve dragging because she did mention #BlackLivesMatter. Unlike many other celebrities, she didn't solely use #AllLivesMatter.

She understands that even though obviously every human life matters, black lives have had it the worst for a long time and understands why the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter became a thing.

I honestly believe that people are using AllLivesMatter in the context that black lives are included - hence the lives of all races matter

As a Cher STAN for the last 17 years I am delighted again and again at how natural, open and free this woman acts on Twitter.

Apart from the wonderful main message here I also love how she just goes and recognizes her spelling mistake from earlier on, calling her dyslexia by its name. This woman has had a 50 year career in showbusiness with soaring highs and crashing lows (who recognizes the song lyrics?) and instead of turning reclusive she just goes out there. So admirable.
