Hulu... you are not some indie company that needs ads and sponsors for funds to keep the company on the ground. This company is worth over 700 million, and still allowing paying customers to suffer with ads. Netflix on the other hand....

Hulu isnt worth $12 a month.

Hulu in general is great because 95% of shows have the episodes up the day after they air vs Netflix that takes years. They have a ton of exclusives (they work with VIacom, Netflix does not) and they have a ton of anime, if you're into that.

I however, cancel my sub during the summer because it's useless with all the shows on hiatus. And I would never pay more than $8.99 for any streaming service.

The ads are not too bad, especially when you watch the episodes long after they air.

No because I hardly even use Hulu Plus in the first place. I don't even know why they need the ads in the first place. Paying more for no ads isn't really worth it imo.

Hulu is cute but I'm not here for this. I've been a long time subscriber and the ads were never that bad so I'm not paying double just to get rid of them—especially if they're going to start integrating premium add ons like with Showtime.

I only ever had Hulu when I got a free trial in 2011. I never ended up using it. I have a DVR so any show on TV that I can't watch when it airs, I can watch when I want.

My gut tells me that Netflix is going to try to move in on the content that Hulu has in the next few years as more and more content ends up online.
