I was just working on leveling up on X. Then i thought if gurdurr had an evolution so i checked and it said that it evolves with trading. I searched at the GTS for another gurdurr. He asked for a Yanma and i had one level 10. He sended it to me. Gurderr evolved, it was level 33 and it had POKERUS!!! idek what ev or iv training is i'm in shock

I'd criticise Gen 5 more (yes there are things i don't like and i don't think they are far above other gens) if it didn't get hated on randomly every 5 pages. Sorry that i defend it instead of joining in. Generally i hate to even bring it up simply because of that. Besides that i have criticised it and Hoenn games (especially ORAS despite me liking it alot.)

But we also have the mini-game in GS (I think) that you catch Barboach and see how long it is.

Just renew the subscription, they should come back. That's what happened to me.

I don't hate gen5, its my less fave game. I never played it either but i guess i dislike that it has so many ugly pokemons in it. I mean that sperm, that fire pig, luvdisc copy, unfezant is the ugliest flying starter. Patrat is a terrible hm slave. Garbodor etc.. Those are just terrible. But
I do like the grass starter. Gothittela and renuicles (or whatever) slays though. Reshiram slays also. Beautiful design

we're yall talking about the messy contests? Cause they've always been tragic. I need some effort put into these side games tbh. The Pokéathlton was a cute first step tho

Let's say one nice thing about each Gen tbh.

Gen I: Tbh the plethora of rumors that surrounded this Gen was what made it fun. The playground talk was the best and I still firmly believe the PokeGod rumor influenced the introduction of Mega Evolution. Impact!

Gen II: It brought some of my fave Pokemon like Sneasel, Togetic, Donphan, Scizor and Houndoom.

Gen III: If it wasn't for the total re haul on the battle system with IVs, Abilties, and Natures Pokemon wouldn't be where it is today tbqh. Plus R/S/E seemed like the first games with an actual story. And diving >>>>>

Gen IV: It gave birth to HG/SSus and I think it had the prettiest graphics. Plus Weavile.

Gen V: Seasons was cute tbh and should have stuck around and it's Gym leaders having taxable jobs was cute tbh. N was probably the most interesting character in Pokemon.

Gen VI: Kalos was beautiful to go through and Customization. ORAS brought a lot of cute features that will sadly be taken away because Gamefreak needs more coins for some reason.

Gen 1: is flawless
Gen 2: is also flawless
Gen 3: has FRLG which are flawless
Gen 4: has HGSS which are also flawless
Gen 5; brought us multi-use TMs I guess
Gen 6: is flawless too.

Gen 1: Laid the groundwork for the rest of the series I guess.

Gen 2: The night/day, phone call and radio mechanics were so cool and kept things interesting compared to Gen 1 and were sorely missed in Gen 3.

Gen 3: The huge overhauls and changes they made were really necessary and it's sad that so many people hated the games because of it. Hoenn as a region was also very cute.

Gen 4: I like most of the new evo's that they added and older fans should be thankful that their faves had a chance to be rescued from the pits of obscurity. Another nice region.

Gen 5: I appreciate that they made a lot of big changes this gen I just don't feel that many of them worked. At least they fixed TMs.

Gen 6: Kalos was a nice region and I kind of like that they slowed down on how many pokémon were added and giving you such a large selection to pick from. I appreciate the streamlining and small fixes they made.

mess i never understood why they got rid of the day/night cycle for gen3 it meant I was never able to get a umbreon or espreon


thankfully pokemon colosseum made up for that by giving them to you as a starter set

They didn't get rid of it in RSE. It just wasn't visible but you were able to get Umbreon and Espeon. FRLG completely left it out tho.

Oh yeah, and Gen 2 introduced Steel and Dark Type

Yeah you set your clock at the start of the game, but that was the only indication of what time it was.

Gen 1 - Started everything, was flawless, had Missingno and other glitch rumours.
Gen 2 - Dunsparce
Gen 3 - The best story of the games thus far
Gen 4 - DS Gameplay
Gen 5 - Multi-use TMs
Gen 6 - Actually looking like a game from the 2010s and not gameboy color realness as the other gens.
