The people in here defending these vocals are more delusional than Britney fans in 2015. If Bey or Jessie J sounded this way they'd be dragged til forever.

Ciara is known for her dancing and performing skills. Noone expected her to serve Whitney.

Is Ciara not a recording artist? Is she not a singer? She should know better than to attempt such a song with her shaky weak vocal abilities. You as a consumer should have higher standards.

She's a singer, and so is Janet, Britney, Madonna, etc. None of them are known for their voices and that's just how it is. Her voice wasn't shaky or weak except at the beginning which was probably caused by nerves. She sounded fine and for her vocal ability, she did great. Not everyone is a Whitney or Mariah.
